2021 GradFUTURES Forum Invites GSAS Community

As a graduate student, are you curious about how to tailor your resume/CV for academic and non-academic job applications? Are you interested in a data-driven approach to understanding Ph.D. career pathways? Do you want to engage in conversations about diversity, equity, and leadership in Ph.D. futures?

All members of the Fordham GSAS community are invited to attend the 2021 GradFUTURES Forum, hosted by Princeton University. This event will take place on Zoom from April 26-30, 2021. The theme is "Broadening the Impact of the Ph.D. Within and Beyond the Academy: The Imperative of Graduate Student Professional Development."

The week-long event is free and open to all. The purpose is to accelerate connections among and between graduate students, faculty, staff, alumni, and leaders from the academic, public, and private sectors. The Forum prepares graduate students to make meaningful contributions within diverse fields of endeavor in ways that expand knowledge, accelerate discovery, and serve humanity.

Among others, Leonard Cassuto, Fordham Professor of American Literature, and James Van Wyck, Assistant Dean for Professional Development at Princeton (and Fordham Ph.D. in English, 2016), will participate in a panel on April 27 (2-3 p.m.) entitled “Graduate Education: Then, Now, Next." This panel will focus on the historical realities, the present pressing issues, and the future of graduate education in North America and globally.
