Fordham Students Awarded Competitive Folger Grants

Congratulations to Clarissa Chenovick and Sharon Harris, two Fordham English doctoral candidates, who were awarded Folger Grants-in-aid to attend the institute's year-long dissertation seminar.

Admission to the dissertation seminar is competitive with only a dozen students accepted though the prestigious Institute received applications from three times that many candidates. The seminar, "Researching the Archive," meets weekly from October through April and provides hands-on experience working with the renowned collection at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, D.C.
